LGBTQIA+ & Identity Support

Exploring who you are can feel exciting, freeing… and sometimes overwhelming. Questions about gender, sexuality, or how to show up in the world can stir anxiety, doubt, or even isolation.

I’m a pansexual transgender woman, and I know first-hand how navigating identity can feel. the joys, the uncertainties, and the moments when you just wish someone truly understood. I provide a safe, non-judgemental space to explore your experiences at your own pace. You won’t need to have all the answers, we can start wherever you are and work together to make sense of what matters most to you.

You might recognise some of this

Many LGBTQIA+ clients notice:

  • Feeling unsure about gender, sexuality, or how to express yourself

  • Anxiety around coming out, or uncertainty about who to share with

  • Experiences of dysphoria, discomfort with your body, or avoiding certain situations

  • Feeling isolated or lacking a supportive community

  • Overthinking how others might perceive you or “doing it right”

  • Worries about acceptance from family, friends, or colleagues

  • Navigating minority stress, microaggressions, or internalised pressure

Even if only some of this resonates, it’s normal to feel uncertain and you don’t have to go through it alone.

Counselling can help

Counselling gives you a private, confidential space to:

  • Talk openly without fear of judgement

  • Explore your identity, feelings, and experiences

  • Develop self-acceptance and confidence

  • Reflect on patterns, pressures, and past experiences

  • Connect with your needs and values

This is a space where your experiences are seen, validated, and supported. We move at your pace, focusing on what matters most to you.

What we can work on together

Through sessions, we can:

  • Explore your gender identity, sexual orientation, and self-expression

  • Build self-compassion, confidence, and self-acceptance

  • Process feelings of anxiety, fear, or uncertainty

  • Navigate coming out or sharing your identity safely

  • Reflect on relationships, boundaries, and connection

  • Manage experiences of minority stress or societal pressure

  • Find supportive communities and resources

Counselling isn’t about having all the answers, it’s about understanding yourself, feeling supported, and making choices that feel right for you.
