About Me

Hi, I’m Sophia.

I’m a pansexual, polyamorous, kink positive, transgender woman, and a UK-trained counsellor with a background in psychology. I know that reaching out for counselling can feel like a big step. Often people arrive unsure of what they want to say, or even why they’re struggling, only that something doesn’t quite feel manageable anymore.

I offer a calm, thoughtful space where you can talk openly and at your own pace. You don’t need to prepare beforehand or explain things perfectly. We can begin wherever you are, whether you have something specific on your mind or you’re still trying to understand how you feel.

In sessions, my focus is on helping you make sense of your experiences rather than analysing or judging them. Together we can gently explore patterns, emotions, and situations in your life, building understanding, self-confidence, and ways of coping that feel realistic for you.

My approach is integrative, which means I adapt how I work to suit you as a person. Some people want space to reflect and be heard, others find practical strategies helpful, and many want a balance of both. We move at a pace that feels safe and manageable.

Before training as a counsellor, my background was in psychology and working with people in professional settings. That experience helps me understand the pressures many people carry, expectations, self-doubt, overthinking, and the sense of needing to hold everything together.

Above all, I aim to offer a relationship where you can be honest without worrying about being judged, corrected, or told what you “should” feel. Counselling isn’t about fixing you; it’s about understanding yourself more clearly and finding ways forward that feel authentic to you.
